TO ADVANCE the understanding of the brain and the learning process by bringing together and training teachers, parents, coaches and leaders of diverse backgrounds, by facilitating the integration of the twelve essential brain responsive elements directed at all levels of the educational arena, and by encouraging the translational research and the application of the new teaching pedagogy to develop improved educational strategies and systems.
TO PROVIDE professional development activities, information, and educational resources for teachers, parents, coaches and leaders at all stages of their careers, including under-graduates, graduates, and postdoctoral fellows, and increase participation of individuals from a diverse cultural and ethnic background.
TO PROMOTE public information and general education about the nature of the twelve essential brain responsive elements and the results and implications of the latest action research. In addition, provide active and continuing education on the issues relating to the conduct and outcomes of brain responsive teaching and learning.
TO INFORM teachers, parents, coaches, and leaders about new scientific knowledge and recent developments in brain responsive research and their implications for public school policy, societal benefit, and continued improvement of the instructional process.
